NE coast people: stay safe! I keep poking my nose at news.google.com and cnn.com to see what's going on.

(And in other weather news, I'm hoping Texas actually has a winter, unlike last year.)

You never know! I mean, West VA has a blizzard warning and there's a chance we get snow tomorrow here in DC. (This storm is so stupid, I don't even understand.)

And there are people on my f-list in the storm's path whose workplaces haven't closed down, even when all public transportation is. Sheesh.

Yeah, there are people out on roads here, which is foolishness. They shut down all of Metro. They never do that, so honestly once that happens, workplaces need to shut down unless you're emergency personnel.

Everything is shut down over here. No schools, buses, trains, planes... Parts of my city have lost power. Hopefully everyone will stay safe.
