So I've been following Tom & Lorenzo* for a while and I just really have to laugh at the pseudo-fierce facial expressions on the runway models in this recent Armani collection they posted. I feel I should point out to those who don't get runway shows - it's supposed to be weird and over-the-top. The actual clothing that's sold in stores is lined, cut differently, and not so outré; in short, the runway collection is only reminiscent of what they're actually selling, bar a few actors and attention-seekers who'll get the pieces as they went down the runway. Although there's a few pieces in this collection that are wearable as-is.

BTW - maxineofarc: would you say the guy on the right in this picture is reminiscent of your character that you wanted me to paint lo these many years ago that I KEEP FORGETTING ABOUT BECAUSE I AM A BAD PERSON?

I laughed so much at the last photo on that page. It was very much "we're angry, sulky schoolboys who have just been told off!" Or that's what I get from the one on our left, the one on our right seems to be giving off a "why did I choose this career path?" vibe mixed with "if you mention this to anyone I will kick your arse!". XD

Oh yes. The Mad Style blog sucked me in. If I were teaching theatre/media costuming, I'd make it required reading to show exactly how and why it's done.
