OMG, I have found one of the most annoying text effects EVAR! Who says fandom_wank isn't edumacational?

It's entirely possible to have both a marquee and sparklies!!

AH - I see - it's probably your browser, if you're using IE. I don't see the sparklies in IE, but they're there in full glory in Firefox.

Wonder why it doesn't combine in IE? And do the sparklies work by themselves in IE?

If not, I'm going to assume it's a setting on your browser or a bandwidth issue - the site we're hotlinking it from taking it down or something, and I'm still seeing it because it's cached. But I dunno.

Can't see it neither. I use Firefox of coure, IE sucks.

It makes my eyes hurt so much... But I can't stop looking at it! I think I shall put it in that section of the brain that controls looking at car crashes - it's both horrendous and shocking but you just have to look anyway.

My XP install at work doens't show the sparklies, but my Win2K at home does.

And then I go back and read the comment that was posted after I alst looked at the wank report and see that people on the wanked community were complaining about it, when i'd assumed you were referring to the f_w people. Ah well. XD
