I am full of snot, but at work today. Not yesterday - this weekend it became clear that I had YET ANOTHER cold, not an allergy attack like I'd hoped. Woke up on Monday, said "Oh, hell no!" and slept until sometime close to noon.

Today I feel somewhat better, although that's not saying much, and so am at work because I have no sick days left and need to husband my vacation days. Luckily I have an office to sit in by myself and not infect others so I do not need to feel guilty about that.

What I do need, however, is a nap. We shall see how long I last at work.

I so feel for you - because except for me staying home on FRIDAY and not yesterday - I'm in the exact same position.

Hope you get your nap. I got mine after a small conference when we finally could get home. I don't think I'm going to correct any more tests today.

I am moving slooooowly. The meeting we were supposed to have today was canceled, luckily, as I didn't remember it! I am taking today as it comes, although if I make it through the end I'll probably leave a little bit early so as not to have to fight the traffic.
