Can't Sleep Sims Will Eat Me 6
This cold is weird - very little congestion, but exhaustion starting today and VERRRRRTIGO! I can tell when my cold meds are wearing off by the way I start getting dizzy when turning my head or looking up, and so on.
And then there was that announcement from earlier, which is garnering comments I need to reply to. :) We actually got engaged a short while back, but held off on making it public until we told![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
myrialux's parents so when I start posting about various wedding-related stuff it's going to sound like we did it all in about two days.*
* Oh come on, it took us at least two weeks. :)
Anyway, I'm just sitting here, head slightly spinning from the vertigo** as I wait until 9 or so to take my night-time cold meds and stagger into the bedroom to sleep, so I'll see if I can knock out some more of the Can't Sleep stuff because I know you hang around here for that.
** Talked to Mom today, and apparently she's had it at some point in her life, and her dad had it, too. Not that I remember the details because: sick. But, huh.
On to the Sims! Beecher throws a party! Genghis stares at people! Does Jason have a date now?
Let's see...where were we? In the last screenshot, it was morning, Jason was up, Beecher was on the computer in Genghis' room, and Genghis was snoozing away.
By the time I took the next screenshot, Genghis had gotten up and went to take a shower. Jason's making breakfast and Beecher's gotten dressed and is thinking dreamily of Genghis.
And then goes to confront him in the bathroom.
After whatever passes between them, Genghis wanders off somewhere. Jason goes to tinker with the toilet, as it keeps breaking, and Beecher starts in on some EXTREME aerobics, as he's gotten another goal to exercise for 4 straight hours or some such.
And then some time passed for which I didn't take any screenshots and I'm sort of sorry I didn't because now I have no idea who these two women are in their house. Genghis is asleep on the sofa, Jason's still fixing the toilet. Beecher's gone to have a nap, and both of the women are looking for Beecher. Too bad he's asleep!
Oh, wait! Now I remember! Beecher decided to throw a party! And then fell asleep while waiting for everyone to come over. So now the party's happening in his and Jason's bedroom and the bathroom. PARTY ON, DUDES!
And the party's happenin'! There's a woman in the lower left stuck against a wall, Genghis is staring fixedly at a couple attempting to talk to him, Beecher's being abandoned in his bedroom by his guests, and two people are standing around waiting for Jason to fix the toilet.
Beecher switched to his party-animal outfit of a pair of shourts and sunglasses inside the house and starts dancing while a couple of guests do either the Twist or the Funky Chicken in the kitchen. One of the cougars after Jason (seeestara's and my conversation on the LJ version of the last Sims report) stands politely waiting for him to finish tinkering with the toilet and notice her.
A pizza delivery woman shows up, and Beecher meets her outside and invites her to the party.
The cougar has given up on Jason for now. Another party guests waits on him, whether to hit on him or to use the bathroom, I don't know. Beecher goes to Genghis' bedroom to chat up the woman who's been on their computer for the entire party.
The evening starts winding down, and Jason goes to talk to Beecher in Genghis' bedroom. By the looks of that star icon he's vocalizing, I suppose he's talking about Beecher's job.
Jason invites Beecher to a movie as Genghis stares daggers at the straggling guests still left in their house.
Looks like Jason's got a date with Beecher! (NO HOMO) Genghis stares fixedly at the guest who's sat beside him.
I finally have Genghis throw everyone out. He gets a late snack as Jason and Beecher keep talking, finding each other far more interesting than any of the guests at their party.
The pizza delivery lady is the last to leave, and lurks around the bushes outside the house for a while until Beecher goes out and flirts with her. Jason follows.
Genghis follows, and they're all deeply engrossed in conversation.
The delivery woman, not quite cognizant of social niceties, follows them back inside and stands around disconsolately as Jason tidies up. By the lump in his bed, I think Genghis has gone to sleep.
Jason and the pizza lady get down and boogie.
And then Jason abandons her to go to bed. I think she wandered around the house a little bit more, then left, but I didn't take any screenshots of it.

I am bewildered by the fact that I can't stand playing Sims (they are so damn feckless!), but I am highly entertained by your posts on them.
It's probably because you're including only the good bits. And everything's better with snark, of course.

I expect the next step is to start building deathtraps for them and watch them wander around until they die. I found one account online where a guy built a surreal deathtrap of a house and did things like make his Sim terrified of water and place a swimming pool in front of the bathroom.
