Trader Joe's a go in Fort Worth!

Also, while the vertigo is held in check by the DayQuil, a general sense of blah-ness has been steadily growing. Blah.

Oh, you are so lucky! The last time I checked, the closest TJ's to us was in...Atlanta, Georgia. I like their food, but I don't like their food enough to go out of state for it. :-D

Trader Joe's is owned by ALDI?? Of all companies to own a gourmet grocer ^^, heh. They're the CULT cheap food discount in Germany. I think they were the first ones and their own brands became so famous that ALDI-only cookbooks have been written.

Oh, wow, I didn't realize they were quite like that! I drive by the ALDI on the way home from work, but have never stopped in.

They're in the US, too? Wow, is this return colonialisation of the German supermarket version, after you guys introduced us to the concept after World War 2? Hah! Turn about is fair play, I guess.

It's pretty new - I think it went in last year. I wonder how many shoppers would refuse to go if they realized it was German? XD

I would think that the British would have more of a problem with that. The US has had other enemies number one in between then and now.

Then again, who knows ^^

There's a lot of "BUY AMERICAN!!" sentiment here, mostly from people who don't realize that lots of, say, non-US model cars are built in US factories and sold by US-owned dealerships. Mind you, I mostly hear about it from people who are complaining about Mexico and Asian countries manufacturing products, and not European countries.

Ah, that makes a lot more sense than World War 2 memories. Fair enough.

Oh, and also: good night! I love when I'm actually online when you are as well, but it's just a bit too late now (11pm) so I'm off!
