I have a feeling I'm gong to be never so glad for a thunderstorm in my life.

My apartment complex is supposed to be having a pool party tonight and unfortunately my apartment is right next to the pool. Did I mention the LIVE BAND? I certainly forgot about that until I heard them starting to warm up.

At any rate, however, there's a thunderstorm fast blowing up and I saw an impressive bit of lightning just now, so with any luck they'll move the band inside the apartment office soon so I don't have the FULL FORCE of the instruments.

... Although I'm not entirely sure that's going to happen: there's now thunder AND loud drums and bass going. Are these people TOTAL FUCKING IDIOTS? THUNDERSTORM. WATER. ELECTRICITY.

I know. Silly me. I checked weather.com and it looks like the main cell's passing south of here, but there's a scattering of green, yellow, and red small spots floating in this direction on the map.

If I was you, I would hope they all get struck by lightning.

The only problem with that scenario that I see is the blast would probably kill the electricity in this area, and I'm just about to hit the all-digital stage of TEH SEKRIT PROJEKT. :)

I may be forced to go see a movie in self-defense, though. Must check what's playing.

Hee. :) The power surge through the wacky wiring in this complex will probably fry my computer, though. Otherwise I'd be so there. XD

Hon, these are musicians. They're always a few cans short of a six-pack. So it doesn't surprise me to hear that they would continue to play, despite impending doom looming above them...

They seem to have escaped the wrath of Darwin's Chainsaw of Natural Selection. More's the pity.

Danm....I was hoping to read something about some musicans electricuted while playing at an apartment complex during a thunder storm in the next volume of the Darwin Awards...
