Japanese team showing off double-Dutch jump rope in Sydney. Starts simple, but builds up.

As a kid I always wanted to double-Dutch but the problem with being an unathletic loner is that you rarely have two friends present at the same time willing to turn the ropes for you as you fall on your face and get tangled up in the ropes learn. And tying one end to a fence while someone turns the other doesn't work very well.

That was really fun to watch. I don't think I've ever had that amount of co-ordination or energy, even when I was a kid and skipping ropes were the in thing to have (then the late 80s happened and everyone got a NES, oops!) :D

Yes, that was wow. They should have glow in the dark jump ropes, that would look even more amazing. I hope people gave them some money - the onlookers seemed to be rather distant for most of the routine.
