Managed to leave off a few walks. Oh well. :)

Walking around campus after lunch 15 minutes. Miles: 1. Biking 20 min 4 mi. Total: 1249 mi. From Lorien: 391 mi. Reach the lawn of Parth Galen below Amon Hen. FELLOWSHIP BREAKS. Who should I follow from Rauros on?

Merry and Pippin from Rauros to Isengard.
Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli from Rauros to Isengard.
Frodo and Sam on the quest from Rauros to Mt. Doom.

THIS IS A QUESTION OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE. So I shall make a poll on DW and on LJ for the next post and see what the hivemind wisdom of the commons says.

Hmm. If it was me I'd go with Merry and Pippin because yay favourite characters (though the kidnapped-by-orcs thing is a bit of a drag I guess). But in terms of exercise, maybe going all the way to Mt Doom would give you the greatest sense of achievement?

:) I'm just glad that the interminable trip downriver to Rauros is over! (I wonder if I should peruse the various routs and see which one has the least amount of boring slogging bits?)
