Most of you who read this and squee over Saiyuki with me already read ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
oyceter and thus know this, but she's reading Saiyuki for the first time and posting about it. The interesting part is that she's somewhat familiar with the original "Journey to the West" story and talks a bit about the similarities and differences (more similarities than I expected, actually). Also a bit on the Chinese version, since that's what she's reading. She's only up to volume 4 so far, so spoil her and die.
