No. You have to get married and have children and rear those children respectably and get them through college. I think then you get to call yourself an adult. Or it is if you listen to a few of my family members.

I think for my family, marriage is what separates you from being a child and with your parents. I remember my aunt giving me and my mother only one copy of a family book-thing when I lived five states away from her. *twitch*
