Minor (very minor) Can't Sleep news -- I spent part of Aggiecon taking photos of the MSC and random people standing around and panel rooms so that I can cheat on my backgrounds. I'll print them out and trace over them and when people say "Wow, that's areally nice drawing," I'll say "Thank you!"

And in other news, two of my pieces in the art show went to auction: one brought $60 and the other brought $30. Woo-hoo! Nobody seems to want anything in the print shop, but I'm thinking that the print shop area is a Sunday-morning type of purchase. Or maybe nobody wants anything in the print shop. And I'm quite happy that Moifa, the artist who sends Chinese brush paintings to cons, didn't send anything I liked, because that means I didn't spend any money on her. And I'd spend *way* too much if she sent something I liked.

:) I even brought this giant box to prop it up in and everything! :)

Decided I'd blitz the con witht eh art to see what sold, and decided to price the minimum bids superlow on things to see if that made them go. Still undecided as to how much autction action was happening, but glad to get rid of some fo the stuff. I know much of the stuff I have will go better at A-Kon than AggieCon.

And Brian Stelfreeze really liked the 8 pages of that comic I've got that didn't make the Tokyopop deadline, so I have a reason to bust my ass and try to finish at least the pencils by A-Kon. He compared it favorably, unbidden, to Hiroaki Samura of Blade of the Immortal fame. w00t!

Oh yeah -- I need to send that table arrangement thing to your A-Kon address.
