myrialux's parents, although that got scuppered when myrialux's brother came down with the flu (2 COVID tests so far showing negative). So that gets postponed a week or two and we are having a small Christmas at home with the cats.
Neither of us could be bothered to do a lot of decorating somyrialux fetched down our old fake tree from the attic, 4.5 feet tall with lights already strung, and we put it on the coffee table. We hung the one ornament we purchased this year (in the shape of a bunch of carrots, celebrating our CSA box and myrialux discovering that carrots can taste good if they're fresh and still sweet), popped our Darth Vader tree topper on the top, and called it good.
