I have had it up to HERE with this. From now on NOBODY is allowed to use this phrase OR ANY VARIANT OF IT ever again, noteven in emergency situations:
[She/He] pushed [her/his] mop of unruly [color/texture] hair out of [her/his] eyes.
FIND ANOTHER WAY TO COMMUNICATE THAT INFORMATION.

I am also putting you on notice for someone blowing or pushing a stray lock or curl out of their eyes or face.
