The cardinals are raising a cowbird chick again. Wonder if the cowbirds come back to lay their eggs in the same area they were hatched? Could it be the chick of the cowbird from two years ago?

One of the things we brought back from visiting Mom is a (probably silverfish-laden) box that mostly contains old photos of friends and family from my father's mother's side of the family. It's also got a few other things.
