(no subject)

I have Facebook friends in both Houston *and* Dallas reporting seeing a meteor this morning*. Woo! (For your guys unfamiliar with Texas distances, that's about 200 miles apart. Which is peanuts for meteors, but hey.)


* OK, the Houston one posted an article about it lamenting that she wasn't outside at the time to see it, but that totally counts as reporting.

Hipsterism

I feel so hip and urban. We picked up locally roasted coffee beans at a local coffee shop and sat and drank tea while the baristas danced the Twist when that song came in. We're currently waiting our turn at the glassblowing studio to make Christmas ornaments, and after that we'll be going to the place that's the closest thing to an izakaya that you'll get in North Texas (barring any place I'm not aware if, of course!).

I love living in a big city!
