telophase: (Mushishi - night moves)
I'm now on a low dose of Trazodone (50 mg) to help with sleep, since the clog-dancing elephants upstairs and various people who think it's OK to drive through an apartment parking lot at 1 AM with the stereo up loud keep waking me up, which makes both the ADD symptoms and migraine triggers worse. (Yay for moving elsewhere in June!)

One of the side effects, I've found, is intense, rich dreams. I found a forum online where people were complaining about dreams of severed limbs and stuff like that, but I haven't had dreams like that. Mine are more visually intense, with richer colors and more detail in costuming and location and, it seems, plot - although the problem is that waking up to an NPR story about the continuing saga of Exxon Valdez litigation tends to drive plot from your mind.

Speaking of dreams, [livejournal.com profile] ursulav has an idea for an awesome RPG character in her dreams.

Erm.

telophase: (Kyo - say what?)
I was attacked by story-ideas in a meeting today, and had to jot them down to get them out of my head so I could pay attention to the meeting and not obsess over the ideas. Unfortunately, my handwriting is not that good, especially when I'm attempting to be discreet, and there's a few things that I can't quite decipher.

One of them seems to read either "Church of the Fake Walnut" or "Choral False Unit." Hrm.
