Snow Moon update!

In the past 2 days I've gotten 3 Click-n-Ships* from the Lab. One's the Inquisition scent I sent for, and the other two have to include at least one bottle of Snow Moon.**

So, decant peeps, you should have your imp of Snow Moon shortly past the New Year - I'm assuming they may not get here before the 23rd - I drive home the morning of the 24th - but they'll probably be here when I get back on that Tuesday, and I'll send 'em out ASAP. :D



* For those not familiar with Click-n-Ship, you can print priority mailing labels online from the Post Office and have them send the recipient an email saying that it's about to be shipped and with the confirmation number. Not that the confirmation # will tell you anything other than it's been delivered, and won't be updated until aftr it's delivered, but it makes you feel better about your package. :D Receiving a CnS from the Lab produces great feelings of almost unbearable anticipation WHICH I AM NOW PASSING ON TO YOU.

** I ordered one bottle in the morning, then one in the evening; if I'm *lucky* they'll have caught that and shipped them together, but I suspect their orders are so high on the lunar oils that it'd be surprising - I mentioned I was adding to a previous order in the comments, but I won't trust that.

Waiting on tenterhooks. I've got three things arriving from BPAL this week, am eagerly awaiting my fandom holiday card,* and am waiting for the recipient of the one I sent to post to this post on fandomcards so I can see if they like it.**

And I got a chunk o'change from the grandparents for Christmas, and a level-headed, sensible, adult would use it to pay bills or put towrds the credit card or something, but ... there's a Nikon digital SLR camera body calling my name... I just need the body, since I own two Nikon lenses for my 35mm camera, and while I lust for the 8 and 10 megapixel ones, in all honesty there's no way I can justify $1K+ on a digital camera. But this would go a looooong way towards that particular camera body...




* If whoever's sending it to me is reading this and hasn't sent it yet, my birthday is Dec 29th and that's JUST AS GOOD as Christmas. *significant look*

** Not that hard to figure out who sent it, however, for Reasons that will Become Clear Later. It went out by priority mail Thursday night, so should have gottent ehre Saturday or Monday, although I know things slow down at Christmastime.

Forgot to mention this

This past weekend on my drive to Houston I realized I'm still not used to the steering wheel configuration on my current car, even though I've been driving the thing for a year now

I was heading south on I-45, somewhere before Madisonville, when a woman in a white SUV failed to check her blind spot before merging into the left lane. I was there, going faster than her and the car in front of her, getting ready to pass them.

As she pulls into my lane, missing me only because I stomped on the brake, I furiously ... set my cruise control at her. *sigh*
