Migrainey

Do any of the people here who ahve migraines notice being extra tired or achy with it? I've had a headache all day that doesn't quite go away with regular drugs and I'll probably declare official migraine time-for-drugs by morning. And during the par tof the day where I decided that if I wans't going to be doing what I ought to be doing, I should be doing something else good instead, I went to the weight room in the apartment to work out. And I couldn't do more than about five-ten minutes on the bike and walking without feeling dead dog tired and vaguely barfy. I hadn't been to work out in three days, so it's not like the normal next-day tiredness. Dunno if it has to do with my headache or I'm coming down with that cold that's taking the rest of the country out or what. Hrm.

GAAAAAAAAHHHHHH ten more pages roughed and I can actually watch television! I can have the TV on or listen to audiobooks when pencilling, but not when roughing. Apparently the part of my brain that follows story is the same part that's engaged when roughing things out, and it's a different bit that draws things. Which makes rather a lot of sense.

I've got 3 DVDs from Netflix and a whole mess of 'em from a friend sitting and waiting for me to be able to watch them, and I haven't had the television on anything other than one of the satellite music channels in about a month now. Tell me again why I'm paying exorbitant amounts of money for fifty billion channels?

Anybody here have experience with qualifying for disability and applying for health & disability VA benefits? (er, in the USA, if that wasn't dead obvious) Got a friend who's looking for info - yeah, they're not just looking on LJ and will probably end up getting a lawyer to help 'em navigate through the mess, but if anyone has any experiences they're willing to share, I can put you in touch.
