Urg. Still not quite human, althugh slightly better than yesterday - sleeping from 11:30 PM to 10:30 AM seems to ahve helped the profound exhaustion a bit, although the regular cold symptoms have gotten worse - but am now starting to go stir-crazy and MUST GET OUT OF APARTMENT. Problem is, there's nothing I really need or want to do or get outside. Don't need food, really shouldn't be spending more money on books/manga at this point, don't want to commit to the 2-3 hours out that's necessary to see a movie, could go rent a movie except that I'm totally not in the mood to watch one. WOES.

ETA: Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha. Library. I have not yet set up a library card at the Fort Worth public library, and there's a branch less than five miles from me. (It never occurs to me to go to the library because I work in a library that has a lot of books plus a robust interlibrary loan service, so the existence of other libraries tends not to cross my mind.)

Went to library. Am now totally wiped out. Mom not home, so cannot whine to her on the phone, hence must whine on Livejournal.

Took a nap, which restored me long enough to go to my mail and found two swaps plus something I'd won off eBay right before Katrina hit waiting in the mailbox. I was very happy to see the eBay thing (a partial bottle of Spooky from BPAL), because right after I won it, the seller contacted me to let me know it might be a few days before she got it out since she lived in Louisiana and they were preparing for the hurricane. So I have had a low-grade worry of is she OK? since then, and I am happy that she is. And she sent a frimp of Hearth, too. ( description cut to spare Mrissa the scent, since it's quite strong. :D )

I may send it off to bpggle after I recover and test it - I expect it's too strong for me, but since Hellfire worked well on him and I know he likes Bordello, it might also work on him.

And now that I've come back from getting my mail and written this, the effort has caused me to develop a headache. I think I need more drugs.
