Becuase I ahve to get art done and prints made, I have been indulging all day in the ULTIMATE PROCRASTINATION: I've been cleaning the apartment. Which is quite a job, considering that I (a) am a slob and (b) have had that back problem which allows me to clean for about fifteen minutes then give up in cheeful defeat because my back hurts too much to keep bending over picking stuff up.*
But I've managed to get most of Goku done so far and will finish him off tonight** and my apartment, while still not what you'd call perfectly clean (especially since I haven't even touched the kitchen) is almost reclaimed, and every washable fabric thing in the apartment has been through the washing machine.
Which leads me into the point of this post.*** I washed my shower curtain - it's a fabric one (there's a cheapo vinyl one on the inside; the nice fabric one on the outside) because I was starting to think it was smelling a little bit when it got damp. Whether that was my imagination or not doesn't matter; it's entirely possible that there's mildew in it or something like that. So I washed it. It shrunk. It's still perfectly functional as a shower curtain, but while it used to sweep the floor, now it's six inches shorter. The silver lining is that at least it doesn't get soaked from whatever water I've managed to splash out onto the floor, I suppose.****
* Shucky-darn.
** STOP THINKING THAT. I REALLY MEAN IT. YOU ARE ALL SICK, SICK PEOPLE.
*** Which you've all been waiting for.
**** You were all dying to hear me report on the state of my shower curtain. Don't deny it.
