AUGH!

ENTERTAIN ME, PEOPLE!

I'm sitting here at work, trying to alternate between taxing my brain over uploading SerialsSolutions data into our system, updating our various scripts to point to the new catalog, and coding a database for the library's various departmental hours, and I usually go visit sompleace online inb etween flipping around all of those things, just to clear the mental palate, so to speak. AND NOBODY'S DOING ANYTHING INTERESTING ONLINE IN ANY OF MY NORMAL HAUNTS! I mean, I'm already mulling over how to convert [livejournal.com profile] sub_divided's Death Note fanfic into comic format, and I shouldn't even be looking at that for another few weeks. (Hey, I can't mentally work on the Rising Stars thing at work, since it's at the drawing stage now, so my brain is fast-forwarding to the next thing it can work on.)

What communities/blogs/whatever do you read that have interesting discussions that are relatively work-safe? (i.e., I read fandom_wank at work, but not Something Awful) I love reading about writing, about making art, about lots and lots of random things. Funny and clever is good. Fan stuff is good, especially if it's above the usual "OMG SQUEE!!" level of discourse.
