slow day today. Dropleted the indentures and put them into a Recall database. Other than that, went through the project website and several other sites in the EnrichUK umbrella project.

Will be spending a day with Helen on the 20th to see a digital project starting. She said she called a London office - maybe the National Archives, but I don't remember. She asked if they minded if she stole some ideas from their site, and the guy offered to work woth her and give her web templates and content and even some money. Apparently he needs to make contact with online projects like this around the country and is thrilled to talk to her. It's some sort of educational project supplying material to teachers.

Secret Shropshire can't supply stuff for teachers because it's partially funded by the New Opportunities Fund (NOF), which is funded by the lottery, and they're leery of anything that encroaches on the National Curriculum. So the site's audience is officially 'General'. The staff were discussing using the Nat. Curr. as a structure that teachers could use if they wanted, but not mention anything about it on the site.

I will never understand British TV schedules.

Supposed to be the hottest day today, but it felt less hot than yesterday or the day before.

Will go to Ellesmere tomorrow with some project staff to take photos of the natural environment around the meres in the area.
