Wow

Woke up early, am watching seeing show on public television that's showing how to fuse plastic shopping bags together to make a fabric you can make bags and lunch bags out of.

You can layer different colors and patterns together to make nifty graphic elements.

Now I want to ask people from around the world to send me plastic shopping bags with different languages, prints, graphics, characters, and words to fuse together.

So I think I've got a few from Scandanavia and Spain that I can send you, and maybe some boutique bags form here in the U.S. Can you use little small ones as well? Do they have to be marked as a particular type of plastic?

Yeah, you can use the little small ones-- the plastic shrinks as you iron it together to fuse it, so you end up having to layer it anyway. And you can cut bits of bags out and lay them in patterns and fuse them on. The plastic type doesnt seem to matter--if it's thin you layer more together and if it's thick you use fewer.

Thanks! :D
