I am collating and entering in survey responses

Dear A-Kon attendee survey respondents:

If you would like to be entered into the drawing from the survey respondents, you should probably have written your badge ID in LEGIBLE writing.

Also, I have to wonder if this one respondent is truly from Scotland, as they misspelled 'Scotland'.

I would also like to register a couple of complaints with the coders of Numbers, the Mac spreadsheet software:

1) Why did it not occur to you that I might actually WANT my running totals to be in a header row? I could have it visible then! Conversely, since you insist it be in a footer, you could have given me the option to freeze that footer row, but nooooooo.

2) Why can I not find the right combo if keywords in order to get your Help to disgorge the secret of turning off the autocomplete? Is it even possible to turn it off?

3) oh, and one more: why don't you have a function that counts the number of cells in a given row or column that have data in them? I'd rather like to see how many people are here from another country without counting manually.

(Found typing "mac numbers autocomplete" into Google - the answer was the second that came up.)
