It sounded interesting enough in the bookstore for me to make a note to see if there's a Kimdle sample for download, and it immediately reminded me of a Yoon-type book. XD Here's hoping it's good!
Deryl was at Ad Astra recently, and I heard him talk about his book on a panel: "Getting Your First Novel Published" -- and man, that guy has done his time. I think it took him ~20y to get that book into print (finally now with CZP).
Which says nothing about the book itself, I know, other than that it has been through much polishing on its journey. ^_^;
CZP is currently running a contest for the book as well. And I do believe this is the Kindle sample link.
... This is accidental pimping post brought to you the letter C for Canadian, and the fact that the author managed to wrangle a Canada Council Grant for research for this novel, and that is not easy for spec fic!
