Librarian @ Large, being a typical blog, gets a lot of spam comments (although not a LOT), but the spammers are getting more wily. There's been a couple that almost pass muster as real questions.
Got this one today:
There is actually some sentiment amongst the L@L bloggers that they're asking questions similar to what people ask librarians, and so may be held in reserve to be used (edited a bit, and without the spam links) when someone can't think of a question to answer.

I'm planning on getting my real estate agents license in the next few weeks. I've heard that Century 21 and some other companies have their own courses. Is it better to attend their course or just a regular local real estate school. Also what companies are good for new agents. And this one came in a couple of days ago:
Any advice you can give is appreciated! Thanks!
Oh and I'll be getting my license in Tenessee.
I’m planning to visit Amsterdam, Netherlands next week. I would like to know whether the Marriot Hotel (located between Leidseplein and Vondelpark) or the Renaissance Hotel (located between Central Station and Dam Square) would be more convenient given the winter weather.I tipped to the fact they were spammers because the URLs they give (that I see in the notifications) end in .ru, which I automatically treat as suspicious, but Akismet, which I'm using to deal with the spam on the blog, caught both of them. :D
Which hotel location is better for tourist to see the major attractions in the wintertime? Any other travel tips for exploring Amsterdam in December? Thank you.
