Heavy metal singers reviewed by opera singer?

At some point, someone on my f-list posted a link to an article in which a classically trained opera singer listened to and gave her impressions of several male heavy metal singers, but I can't find it now. Anyone able to link me?

It was a professional voice instructor.

(I just clicked through to a friend's friend list, saw your question, and remembered my delight.)

Yay, you have the link!

I remember seeing it through [personal profile] thomasyan, I think. Fantastic article; I'm just sorry I don't know anything about voice, but it's very readable anyway.

I think a lot of bands with major label contracts actually do get vocal lessons from their labels...
