Does anyone have any shoujo-type manga pencils out there and would be willing to throw a scan or two my way for me to practice on? I've bought a few more nibs and a couple more pen holders (so I don't have to switch out nibs on the same holder while inking), and I desperately need to practice inking with them. And I don't want to do any of the stuff I've got lined up to be inked in the following weeks, because inking the same page twice (once now and once later, when I'm better) is Just Not Any Fun.

Shoujo is preferred, just 'cause the thing I really need to work on is very fine lines and curving, flowing lines, and shoujo tends to lend itself to that. And I need a comic page with panels and everything, because of the fine lines and small shapes involved - I've got plenty of pinup pencils I can work on if I wanted to do that (I'm cleaning up a version of the Sesshoumaru piece that I inked last night).

I'm not looking for a full project or anything, just a page or two I can print out and ink on. I'd like to be able to post the finished thing here and to my DA account for showing off crit, but if you don't want me to post it publicly, that's fine.

I would give you some of mine, but my pencilling is pretty horrible in its own right (as in, not very clear or tight at all), so I'm not sure if you could do much with them. :/

Eh, if you want, I'd be willing to give it a try. My normal pencilling isn't very tight, although with TEH SEKRIT PROJECT I'm being forced to tight up liek whoa (which is a good thing indeed, since I am impatient and wouldn't do so otherwise :). The results may not be great, but it'd at least get me working with the pens.
