I'm pretty sure RAS is effing serious. I have a sneaking suspicion that this bell-wearing unicorn is probably the unicorn from a previous book that decided not to stab Drizzt in the face because Drizzt is too good to be a bad guy and so therefore does not deserve to be stabbed in the face with a unicorn...

Lol, yeah, when he first meets the unicorn I believe he was technically like an eighty year old virgin...but when he acquires and rides this bell-bedecked unicorn, he is definitely not. He's been married to Catti-brie for awhile.

It's probably somehow related to his Goddess, Mielikki. She's a nature goddess in the Forgotten REalms setting, a favorite amongst rangers. Her symbol's a unicorn. I think he's (Drizzt) is supposed to be a favorite of hers or something, IDK.
I AM DISAPPOINT beyond words that no one has produced cheesy official cover art of this. DISAPPOINT! *shakes phist at sky, etc.*
And now I kind of want to commission the guy who does all the naked-Obama-riding-a-unicorn, Sarah-Palin-with-pancakes-on-her-head, etc. goofiness to paint this, because it would be GLORIOUS and brain-melting.
