telophase: (manji - not happy)

Headache. Ugh.

Thanks to tropical storm whoozit on the coast, there's rain happening here, which I blame for my headache. I am hoping it is not a migraine, and have embarked upon a plan of caffeine, calories, and ibuprofen to fight it. If not, well, I can always go home and sleep.

Yesterday I successfully made a bag from the pattern I created! Woo! OK, so the inside pocket is a little low, but that's easily fixed on the next one. Next step: scan the pattern pieces and transform them into a PDF pattern, write up the instructions (possibly with explanatory photos), and ask for a volunteer or two to make it for me and let me know if it works out for them. If so, then I plan on also throwing the pattern up for sale on Etsy or somewhere - might as well get what I can from it. :)

I found the bag book. Do you still want to borrow it?

Flipping through it, I suspect the "Suede City Pack" which of course need not be suede might be to your liking.

Send me an email with your postal address, via the address on my account, and I'll send it along.

Ooohh what kind of bag? I had made a few of the buttercup bags (http://www.made-by-rae.com/2009/02/free-buttercup-bag-sewing-pattern.html) and liked them but was not happy with how small they were overall.

You'll probably hate this one then, because it's even smaller. :D It's close to a wallet on a string. It's a tweaked version of the one in the first three pics here ().

I've got a couple of ideas for other bags that I'm working on as well, which will be larger and you might like better. :)

lol, I'll volunteer. I've been stitching a few things lately, like making some teddy bears and cat-bears off some old patterns I got from a Home Ec. teacher back in high school. Haha, I need to do a ton of hand-stitching on this one pair of mega-bells I'm creating. I've got cut out denim hand prints to sew all over them. Love bell-bottoms.

and my Grimm-kitty, just because:

Awesome. :)

And that is one patient cat! XD

Well, actually, it took a few minutes for her to stop walking off, even though I gave her the 'stay' command. Lol, she does tricks, be the ones she ignores most are 'stay' and 'lay down'. She finally gave in and got her treat, lol.

I can occasionally get Sora to play fetch, but only with his feathers-onna-stick toy. XD

Haha, I tried to get a video of her doing her tricks, but that's the one day she decided not to cooperate, lol. I'm over here saying, "Grimm-kitty, sit." Grimm-kitty: *glare glare* And so on.
