As far as the LJ crossposting to FB and Twitter goes...

As far as my personal LJ account goes, I shall be doing no crossposting whatsoever to Facebook, because my Facebook account is attached to a lot of work people and I prefer to make it a little harder for them to find my fannish squeeblings, and I shall not be crossposting to Twitter because I don't see the point. And I wouldn't do it anyway without explicit permission from the person whose post my comment was in.

I do crosspost ConDFW stuff to LJ, Facebook and Twitter, but that's set up to automagically happen from the website, not from LJ. I might in the future crosspost ConDFW stuff to them from LJ, but not personal stuff, and not people's personal accounts unless (a) they say in advance that it's OK, (b) it's relevant to ConDFW, like a ConDFW con report or a review of or interview with one of our guests, and (c) I'll do it using the [livejournal.com profile] condfw_admin LJ account, not mine.

I won't be doing so at all either. I post a lot of stuff to LJ that I wouldn't want a LOT of ppl reading on FB. Plus I don't trust FB's privacy settings at ALL.

Yeah. Their whole "Privacy? What privacy?" attitude is annoying.

Same here. LJ is my more private journal, and Facebook is horrible with privacy settings. Why I would like to set it up so that Facebook entries go onto my livejournal, I don't want it to go both ways.
