(no subject)

Exhausted again. At least the headache I've had all day has been kicked - I think it was trying to become a migraine as we had rain today, but was thwarted due to my refusal to drink artificial sweeteners.*

But this exhaustion can just STOP NOW. I would actually like to DO something after work other then stare at the TV.

* It hit me today that while I was in Japan, I had only one migraine - the one I got on the plane thanks to lack of sleep and just plane travel, which lasted a couple of days. It was extremely hot and humid, and I've found that usually just going out into the heat and working for 5-10 minutes is enough to trigger a migraine, much less walking around in 100+°F weather with sopping-wet humidity. But what did I not do during those three weeks? Drink diet sodas or iced tea with sweetener.

OTOH, a weeklong cruise during which I didn't drink any diet sodas still gave me heat-induced migraines ... I can't remember if I was drinking ice tea with sweetener. Hm.

A lot of the vending-machine cold teas in Japan have sweetener of some kind.

It sounds like you may have found a very strong correlation: strong enough to avoid further experimentation! It's so hard to find drinks that have no sweetener in them, it is ridiculous...

I lost a sentence.

We had trouble finding unsweetened, meaning no sweetener of any kind, tea or coffee drinks.

I've found that I don't really like canned or bottled tea, so I ended up drinking water, full-sugar sodas, or hot tea when in Japan.

And I'm definitely not planning on experimenting any more!
