London Duck Tours. I can't work out if it's awesome or awful. :) (I admit to being far more interested in the WWII vintage amphibious craft than the tour itself.)

There's always the Wisconsin Ducks, if you're more interested in the Ducks....
(I forget if you're one of the people who goes to Wiscon; the Dells aren't that far from Madison and the Ducks do operate during May, if you are.)

Boston has those too.

Yeah, they say it started in Boston first, then London.

The ones in Boston are AWESOME. I'm *from* Boston and I'll still take one any chance I get.

Cool! We'll definitely keep the London one in mind, then. :D (If I schedule us too much before the actual trip, Toby will probably revolt and I know I'll get sick of it, but I'm collecting ideas of things to do that we can choose from on the day.)

We have this or something like it in Seattle. It's a horrible tourist trap, but I confess I want to do it, simply because the idea of driving straight into the lake makes me giggle. I'm shallow.

(People tend to shout things at the Duck bus/boats. I tend to stick with "Quack quack!", although the "Fuck you!" contingent is, er, vocal.)

What, not even "Duck you?"! :)

If you want to get a look at the ducks, there are usually a couple of them sitting at the place where the tours start, which is just behind the gardens at the back of the London Eye. I'm a native and a river fiend, but I've never been on one - driving into the river has always appealed, but 75 mins with no stops in a very cramped thing with lots of over-excited kids, not so much. The Blitz tour might be cool, though.

You could own your own if you've got $100,000 lying around that you aren't using: Ebay ftw. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190418127217&crlp=1_263602_263622&ff4=263602_263622&viewitem=&guid=b4feb3a31270a04373e591f5ffbdf2a6&rvr_id=&ua=WXS%3F&itemid=190418127217)
