SORA: I am the Lone Cat Who Walks Alone!

[personal profile] telophase goes into bathroom

SORA: Where's Mama going? In there? The door! It's shutting! No! No! She might fall in! Mama! Mama! Let me in! You might need me! Let me in!!!

[personal profile] telophase opens door

[personal profile] telophase: Would you like to join me?

One of my mom's cats does that. When she's in the bathroom, Cleo just sits outside and howls. When she opens the door, Cleo just goes 'oh' and walks off.

One of my cats stares at me when I'm in the shower. The other just leaps into the tub post-shower to lick soapy water.

The bathroom door at my parents' house could be tripped easily (you have to push the doorknob up to get it to close completely) and a couple of times before I figured out the trick, my cat opened the door on me...

When we visited my aunt when we were kids, my aunt's dog got freaked out by seeing my brother standing up to urinate (he wasn't used to seeing people doing that, since he was owned by a single woman!)

Ahaha!

Minnow does this too, but if I close the door and open again she will come in. I have never seen a cat so happy to be in a washroom. And she likes to sit in the tub and eat any critters that have found their way there or lick the water around the drain.

Cats are odd.
