You know, I took death_note off my communities-filter friends page for a week due to a malformed cut tag that was somehow breaking my page, and ... I didn't miss it one bit. Guess that's a Sign.

I suppose I should go poke around dn_apples and see what discussion's going on there, but last I checked the active discussions were about chapters that haven't been translated yet, and I'm trying to wait until the scanlations have come out.

Yeah - I just did a quick scan of the posts there and there's no active discussion of anything scanlated, just a bit about the raws and the text translations. Hrmph.
