Here's the Egyptian dancing girl so far:

Surrounded by, note, Photoshop CS5. This is the first time EVAR I have bought an expensive computer program that was not immediately replaced by its successor. Maybe not the exact first, but it happens with enough regularity that I remain pessimistic about it. (Painter 7, replaced by Painter 8 within the year. Painter 9, replaced by Painter 10 within the year. Painter 10, replaced by Painter 11 within three months. Photoshop 7, replaced within the year. Adobe Creative Suite CS, replaced by CS2 within the year I AM CURSED)
Anyway, I have not done much painting with CS5 as of this moment because I've been embroiled in a SEEKRIT PAINTING PROJECT that I shall reveal in a day or two, once the relevant person has been notified. :D (All shall be explained, I promise.)

On a more serious note, in your brief time together have you noticed anything absolutely amazing in CS5 in comparison to its predecessors? I can't justify getting it myself as I'm not eligible for any sort of discount anymore, but I am curious if there have been any big, or just noticeably useful, changes.
I guess whilst I'm commenting I should mention I also like your picture. :D

I did try out the content-aware fill that they're so proud of, and it works well if you're removing an object that is surrounded by the same color and texture. If you're removing an object that is in front of two different color/texture, it's much more obvious. :) I'll probably post examples of that at some point.

I do like the look of the new streamlined tool palette. Since I always fill as much screen as possible with whatever I'm working on it'd be helpful to have the tools further out of the way.
I completely forgot about the content-aware thing even though I watched a demonstration video somewhere a few months ago. I'd be interested in seeing those examples when you have time to do it. :)
