He was actually kidding, but still, look at this:
Bison ribeye with espresso rub, cooked according to Alton's Brown's method (sear on hot cast-iron pan, throw in hot oven). Espresso rub from a local bakery using coffee from the local micro-roaster* and a number of other herbs and spices.
Asparagus from the farmer's market, roasted with olive oil and lemon juice
New potatoes, also from the farmer's market, roasted with olive oil, rosemary, and garlic
Sourdough bread from the local bakery, with Irish (ISTR) butter
* I feel so pretentious. I'm going to throw the word "locavore" out there for this meal.
