So, does anyone else see "Telophase" in the two comments made last Friday here, or is it one of those "pick up your LJ name if you're logged in" scripts?

(Mostly because I just found this while Googling around about the Game of Knife and Candle in Echo Bazaar, and the coincidence is a bit odd. And now I'm wondering what Google Alert brought him there, and if he just accidentally clicked the wrong one? If that's the case, anyone making it here: while non-LJ journals can't comment on the LJ post, the Dreamwidth post takes OpenIDs and my contact info is on my profile page in both places. :D)

I imagine Alex just has a Google Alerts trained on mentions for Echo Bazaar, but I have no idea why he thought I was you. Perhaps we share similar traits and levels.

I really must get moving with my own rewatch of the anime. I've got the manga as well, but a pretty and faithful anime is a wonderful thing to behold.

Not to brag ok, yes, I'm totally bragging, when I went to Japan in 2007 with rachelmanija, I brought my mom's portable DVD player and the anime. The experience of watching it after dark on a screened-in porch in a room in a temple in Koya-san, and watching more episodes at night in a ryokan in Magome was ... quite powerful, since it's so evocative.

Maybe that same thing was posted in reply to a different telophase somewhere else and someone did a cut-and-paste response without changing the name properly. You can't be the only telophase on the intarwebs. Do you Echo Bazaar under the same name?

I play Echo Bazaar as "telophase," and the reason I use that as my online nick is that "telophase" has always been available on whatever place I sign up. (except for Gmail, hence "telophase14" there.)

Er, what do you mean by "I don't see them?" I was asking if people saw the word "Telophase" in the two comments, and it seems people do, so that it's really there and not one of those LJ-name-scripts that grabs your name and sticks it in there.
