Last Christmas I bought a Wonderpets snow globe for my sister, who was an animator on Wonderpets. I could not even conceive that the snow globe would be a problem for security, but -- yep. I pled with them and they made an exception for me.
It's the more than 2 oz. of liquid, but I must say that if I were hatching a diabolical scheme it would never occur to me to put my liquid explosive inside a kitschy snowglobe.
A falling snowglobe is a really dangerous thing! David managed to cover an entire room in glass with one. Not just little bits under the bed found later, but giant shards stuck in the walls. It was a miracle no one got hurt.

I wonder what their reasoning is? Sharp glass if broken, more than 2oz liquid?

I think I'd probably be more successful in hitting someone over the head with it than blowing a up a plane with that amount of liquid explosive.
