He was also scared by nothing at all, at one point. We're not sure what he heard or saw near the front door, but it made him jump and run.

I really wish I'd never read Neil Gaiman's explanation that so much odd cat behavior can be explained by the fact that they can see ghosts and we can't. Especially when their eyes track invisible things across a room.

Thank might wig me out if I didn't know that cats' eyesight is not that good: they don't focus well, but can see movement. :) I assume they're tracking a sound, usually.
