Note to self: add "hot baths" to list of migraine triggers. X|

That sucks as a trigger >_< Since they usually help relieve mine.

Yeah. I think it's the overheating aspect - both of the last two times I've taken one, I had a slight headache when I got out, which stayed overnight and deepened into a migraine by noon the next day. I shall have to take a warm-but-not-hot bath and see what happens. But not tonight.

If you're getting high temperatures there it could also be a function of too much heat as is. Makes me feel off.

Possible - this is Texas after all. Although we've had a few days of not-so-hot-for-summer temps recently. I know that overheating, like walking around outside in the summer without a hat, always gives me headaches, and they're probably going to go into migraines now. Erg.

Ooh, suck.

Yup. Yup yup yup. *sigh*

Awww man--I hope it subsides soon. :-/

My Relpax did eventually kick in, so I am headache-free, but slightly goofy, at the moment.

Of all of life's genuine joys to be deprived of....
I FEEL YOUR PAIN!

(actually, lacking migraines, I doubt I can even fathom)

[identity profile] telophase.livejournal.com 2005-06-27 01:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks. :)

Most of my migraines you can probably fathom - I get the sort, most often, that masquerade as normal bad headaches ... except that They. Don't. Leave. And regular drugs have no effect on them. I occasionally get the sort that feel like there's pressure building up under one area of my skull, sometimes accompanied by nausea, but for the most part it's those wily ones that don't reveal their true nature to you until you've gulped down a handful of Advil over a period of time and realized they're not working.

That happens to me too. Commiserations. :(

Thanks.

P.S. I *did* send off the stuff you ordered last Monday? Tuesday? although my faulty memory is now not feeding me exactly *what* it was you got or exactly what day I sent it, so hopefully I got it right and it will arrive there shortly. XD
