I'm picturing a manga rendering of you, facing the fourth wall with your eyes wide and despairing, and your hands over your mouth. With your ENTIRE ARMY of a family gathered excitedly around you, screeching as one, "*BOYFRIEND*!?!?!?"

Christmas before last was like that. A wall of female relatives gathered around saying WHY HAVEN'T YOU TOLD US ABOUT THIS BEFORE with me going FOR PRECISELY THIS REASON.

This is why the Official Family Meeting with Toby at my cousin's wedding this past October was the best idea evar, because everyone was so busy that nobody could sit down and grill him for longer then thirty seconds without getting distracted.
