This weekend...
...was the only time for a while that I'd have to sit and think and write my
yuletide story, so naturally what I did was make the final push on unpacking.
So, I:
--unpacked a huge number of boxes; I don't know how many, but there are only four left, three of which contain art supplies and paper, and one of which contains coat hangers, and moved random boxes that had been shoved into my closet out of my closet and unpacked them as well
--moved the wire shelves from
myrialux's office into my closet and filled them up, including putting my neverending supply of old backup CDs from computers I no longer own onto the shelves (once I go through those and toss the ones I don't need any more, there should hopefully be enough space to put my photography stuff on the shelves, which is now sitting on the built-ins in the hall)
-- did six loads of laundry
--cleaned the microwave and toaster oven
--took a large print to get framed, as Michael's is having a 60% off sale.
--went to the grocery store (forgetting it was the weekend before Thanksgiving aaargh!)
-- turned my Thanksgiving order in to a nearby restaurant (dear God I'm not making a full T-giving dinner for myself and Toby and my mom. :D)
--made cookie dough for the cookies I promised to the piano class for the last day
--vacuumed the kitchen floor after flinging flour everywhere. OK, so I set the Roomba up to do it instead of doing it myself.
--went to the bookstore and found a book on making origami jewelry, which seems like an interesting concept to sell at cons
--set up the new cat box
--did a bit of research for my Yuletide story; mostly finding useful-seeming websites
--and several other things that are escaping my mind right now.
I am now TIRED and I HURT ALL OVER. But it is absolutely amazing what I can get done when I'm procrastinating on something else that really really needs to get done.

As my sister Amy used to say, a term paper can only be written in an absolutely spotless house.

I'll have to ask her what he built for his dissertation.

YES. I did five loads of laundry myself. Or six, I'm not sure. Hauled things. Made stuff. Cleared and cleaned and packed boxes to ship and who knows what all.
Final project for school due today, naturally. :D
