P.S.

Also at the bookstore last night I unexpectedly came upon Pratchett's lastest, Unseen Academicals. I've got it, am about halfway through it. It's not going to be one of my favorites, being fairly standard Diskworld fare, but I find even bog-standard Pratchett to be comfort reading. :)

P.S. It's about Unseen University fielding a football team.

Bog-standard Pratchett is, indeed, good comfort reading -- much like most of later Wodehouse. I'm looking forward to this one with some trepidation, though, as I understand Rincewind is involved. Is he the focus or an incidental?

What I'm REALLY looking forward to is I Shall Wear Midnight -- especially given what wearing midnight means to Tiffany Aching.

That's good to hear.

(He said, catching up.)

I bought that a couple of hours ago. And completely agree about the comfort reading part. :D

As a general rule, I usually find the UU books to be among the lesser Discworld novels. (Mind you, it's still Discworld, so that's kind of like saying "not the best ::fill in obsessively-favorite dessert::.)
