Spending my lunch hour catching up on last week's Project Runway.

Dear Epperson. I know you were disappointed that you got the film genre Western instead of Period Piece to use as your inspiration for this week's challenge. Here's a hint: a Western is a period piece, if you do it right.

ETA: Ten minutes in, and he's figured that out! Good for you!

Yeah, I think his was best. I sort of wanted to like Nicholas' Ice Queen dress, but unfortunately I don't like Nicholas very much and that spilled over onto his dress. XD

That's about how I felt.

Yeah, I can't stand Nicholas. I liked the designer who went home a lot- he was a sci-fi geek! So cute!- but I do have to admit his dress was pretty bad.

90% of the time when they get those second thoughts and redo the dress, it turns out to be a complete failure. He should have stuck with the jumpsuit and tried to fix the problems instead of attempting to do an entire dress in two hours. (Or recognized long before that it wasn't going to work.)

Yeah, I thought the jumpsuit could have worked with some changes. The top half of it was very nice.

haha, while i definitely don't like nicholas on a designer level (even this ice queen dress didn't really do much for me) he's probably my favorite contestant. sadly, this is pretty much for no other reason than that he reminds me of the lead singer from keane (http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&safe=active&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hs=br1&q=tom%20chaplin&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi). this leads me to watch him with a fond expression saying, "oh, fake tom from keane!" with hearts in my eyes.
