I have totally indulged in ordering a starter kit to make flowers out of nylon. I feel so girly.
I think part of the reason I like these crafty things is that my eyes hurt after staring at a monitor so long at work, so I don't really want to focus on one all evening long at home.

My iPod case is pink, my phone is pink, my wallet is pink, and the ID holder on my keychain is pink. I am afraid I may have to turn in my tomboy card. (But I have no pink *clothes*!)

I think that may be part of why I just don't seem to do well at digital art. It's too hard to force myself into the chair after hours of screen. Playing with toys, er, I mean pens and paper, is easier.
I used to make flowers out of calico cloth instead of nylon. It was part of school art project. Really hard! But the flowers were gorgeous.
