It's good to see that they had this again this year. Last year it was apparently cancelled because of Health and Safety (i.e numerous broken limbs). That is a very steep hill.
I can imagine. It's one of those things where the people participating know the risk they're taking, so I don't see the problem (although H&S didn't bother to ask *me*. XD)
There used to be a local cheese rolling competition once a year when I was a kid in a nearby small village called Stilton. It was nowhere near that crazy though, the hill wasn't nearly as steep and I vaguely remember it being paved...
