A 1956 photo from vintagephoto on LJ: Henry Behrens, the smallest man in the world dances with his pet cat in the doorway of his Worthing home. I think it's the obvious loving relationship between the two that makes me smile - see how the cat's tail is straight up in that "You're home! you're home! Come feed me and pet me!" position. XD

I especially like the first two photos, they show off the incredible embroidery or weaving on the fabrics even though the pictures are black and white.

Yeah. vintagephoto has its ups and downs, most especially recently when someone freaked out over the large amount of Russian text and Russian users commenting in Russian, thus causing one of the mods to come down with an OMG THIS IS AN ENGLISH COMMUNITY U NEED TO POST YOUR COMMENTARY IN ENGLISH rule that, you'll note, nobody's actually paying attention to. :)

Heh, from my experience as a middle school teacher at an all boys' school you will only get people to follow rules, if you actually take the time to consistently enforce them.
