Scare quotes ahoy!

Just remembered this - on the way back from the doc, I was on the highway behind a horse trailer for the Fort Worth Police. The warning on the back read:

STAY
BACK
"20"
FEET

And to rub salt into the wound, whoever was stenciling the letters on used the same right-curly-quotes stencil for the scare quotes in front of the 20 as for after it, so I was left with the impression that I was driving behind a misbehaving Word document.
